Saint Chad (Manchester Oratory)
As part of ongoing restoration works at the Oratory, we were asked to design a new decorative scheme for the statue of St. Chad. A bespoke model of the Oratory was made to replace the generic book, which the statue previously held. The figure was finished in gold and silver leaf.
Our Lady of Guadalupe ~ (Saint Christopher's Salford Diocese)
This statue of the Immaculate conception was customised to represent the image of Our lady on the Tilma of Guadalupe. The symbol of the snake was retained by purpose of familiarity with its meaning for English parishioners.
Saint Nicholas ~ (School of St. Nicholas Liverpool)
This statue of St. Patrick was customised for the school of St. Nicholas in Liverpool. We gave him a more kindly appearance by making the beard fuller. The shamrock was re-moved and a bag of coins replaced the book. Finally the figure was repainted in colours associated with St. Nicholas.
Our lady of the key ~ (St. Joseph's Harrow & Weald London)
This statue was re-painted in Byzantine colours. A red mantle was added to the infant Jesus, consistent with representations of the Christ child in orthodox iconography.
