Advent is the time for preparing ourselves spiritually for the coming of the Christ child; It is also a time when many of us will be catching up with old friends and relatives, (and (oh dear!) there is always the problem of that one address or phone number which we have misplaced and can't retrieve.) I am writing this post to catch up with my subscriber friends, and apologise for being rather remiss in posting this last quarter of the year. I hope to correct this fault in the coming year.

I am also taking the opportunity to update our website so that it will work better for those with mobile phones. In recent years I closed my face book account, but opened an Instagram account instead. If you have a moment to relax in the days ahead, you might like to follow us on Instagram, it is simple to use and it would be good to hear from you.
